You will love this area of Southwestern Wisconsin! From the moment you arrive, you will take in the beauty of the Upper Mississippi River and the towering river bluffs. Our Campground is nestled in one of the valleys beside the river, with miles of scenery, wildlife, wetlands and woodland. Our 45 acre campground is the perfect place to spend the summer and fall while you explore the areas and communities that make our area so unique. You are 12 miles from Prairie du Chien, WI. and 45 miles south of La Crosse, WI. We have one of the nicest, cleanest campgrounds in the area, with tent camping and overnite RV's welcome! Bikers, canoe and kayakers, this is a great place to spend the night after a day's travel. Several great local restaurants within a short trip, like the Big River Inn, in Genoa, where Pat and Richard offer great food, punch cards, and BOGO cards, good for free meals, or Spring Lake Inn, a local favorite, just minutes away, or cook out on one of our grills. Five miles from the campground, in Seneca, WI., is No Bull Party Place, offering great meals, and Johnson's One Stop, for groceries, hardware, bakery goods, and the best steaks anywhere!

Friendly, beautiful, and relaxing, you can watch the American Queen Riverboat on its weekly trip. Not a boater? The Mississippi Explorer Excursion Boat in nearby Lansing, IA. is available to take you on a tour of the area, Take a Dinner Cruise on the Julia Belle Swain. Many historical river towns in three states, within an hour's drive, for you to explore, from antique stores to coffee houses, museums, great restaurants,and quaint bookstores, there's something for everyone within a short drive, all along the river!

Quiet, Spacious Campsites... with River view, plenty of eagles, egrets, pelicans, ducks, geese, swans, and songbirds to keep you entertained. We have hiking trails, a Clubhouse, restrooms, full service hook-ups, to primitive camping areas.

We are VERY pleased to be able to offer Capt. John Bomkamp's Guide Service, to make the most of your Mississippi Bend camping trip. John is a professional angler, with 25 years of experience. He is fully Coast Guard licensed, and offers guided fishing trips for trophy largemouth and smallmouth bass on Pools 8, 9, and 10.

Trips are available from early spring until late fall. Call John to schedule your group and let him show you where to catch your limit!!

Bomkamp's Service also offers float trips down the Lower Wisconsin River, and Panfishing trips on the Mississippi, and area lakes. What a GREAT way to spend a weekend, or a vacation!

Don't have a camper? We have the solution to that also! RENT OUR TWO BEDROOM, TWO BATHROOM COTTAGE for the weekend or the week!! EQUIPPED WITH EVERYTHING, FROM LINENS, TOWELS, AND EXTRA COFFEE FILTERS AND TOOTHPASTE! All you need to bring are your clothes, your groceries, and your fishing poles, and Beach Towels!

Every time it's rented, we're told that it feels like "Home Away From Home!" Central Air Conditioning, Washer & Dryer, Hair dryer, all kitchen equipment and utensils....you could honestly cook a Holiday Feast there, without having to bring a single extra thing from home! Exceptionally Clean And Comfortable!
